Jonathan Foundation
We believe in inclusion and equal opportunities for all people, and we strive to create a welcoming and caring environment where every individual feels valued and respected.
I am Catalina Avilés, mother of eight-year-old Jonathan Zambrano Avilés, who was kidnapped and murdered on September 24, 2002.
My difficult experience of losing my only son led me to decide to organize the Jonathan Medical Social Service Foundation for children with disabilities and catastrophic illnesses and the elderly.
My determination is to provide medical care, food, and supplies with the help of many charitable people and my personal efforts, in my son's name. Our specific purpose is to help the poorest, hundreds of children and the elderly throughout the country who cannot afford to pay for their own medicine, clothing, food, education, etc.
"With our contribution, we hope to be able to help the most needy."

Mission, Vision and Values
There are many ways you can help the foundation. One way is by donating money, whether large or small; every donation is valuable and helps fund the foundation's projects and programs.
You can also volunteer, offering your time and skills to support various activities and events organized by the foundation. If you have specific knowledge, you can offer to mentor or tutor those in need.
Another way to help is by spreading the word about the foundation's work, sharing it on your social media, and inviting your friends and family to learn about it and be part of its mission.
¿How to help the Foundation?
Our children
Our goal is to provide help and support to children with disabilities and older adults. We are dedicated to improving their quality of life by offering services and programs designed to meet their specific needs. We work closely with families and caregivers to ensure each person receives the appropriate and personalized attention they deserve. Our team of trained and committed professionals is dedicated to providing them with the medical, emotional, physical, and social support necessary so they can reach their full potential and enjoy a full and happy life.
We are committed to this cause and work hard to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.
Community
Many older adults suffer from illnesses and are neglected. These people need our help and support to cope with their situation as best as possible.
Thanks to the dedication of volunteers and healthcare professionals, we can provide them with the care and attention they so desperately need. Whether it's providing them with medication or assisting them with their daily activities, every small gesture helps improve their quality of life.
